Reporting & Assessment

We recognise the importance of providing students and their parents/carers with regular feedback on their progress as well as the impact that student attitude has on academic progress. Parents receive a report by post every October, February and July.

For all year groups we provide an attitudes to learning grade in October and then in every subsequent report.

At Key Stage 3 we follow a mastery pathway which involves us reporting to parents twice yearly, in February and July. Parents receive a summary of their child’s performance against the key components of each subject’s learning journey, ranging from – emerging, developing, secure, excelling. The table below provides a guide for each performance level.
