Harlington School has a Specialist Resources Provision for up to 7 pupils with physical disabilities and sensory impairment. We provide the best possible educational opportunities for our students with disabilities, and they are fully integrated into the school.
We provide support for our students to further develop to their skills and prepare them for their future life. We work in partnership with parents and health professionals to ensure that their medical, as well as their academic needs are met.

The Local Offer
The “Local Offer” document outlines information about the services and provisions we as a school currently offer to students or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or students with disabilities (SEND). Parents and carers would benefit from such information and have more choice and control over the type of support available for their children, young people and families.
The document includes the processes of identifying support for children with SEN; the intervention programmes available for students who require additional short term support over and above that provided routinely as part of the mainstream school curriculum. The document also gives information to parents/carers on personnel to contact in the school or other organisations regarding their child’s progress or any other concerns that involves the child’s welfare.
