Harlington makes the news with BBC School Report

Harlington School students are excited to be involved with the BBC School Report again this year.

Students will be making the news for real on 10th March…

BBC School Report 2016

Harlington School pupils took part in the BBC School Report News day and made their own news on the 10th March 2016.

Three Year 11 students, Simranjit, Ariha and Zena had a fantastic opportunity to go to the British Airways Training Centre at Heathrow and find out more about their current campaign to encourage more female pilots. As well as finding out the facts behind the campaign, they also interviewed two female pilots and tried out the flight simulator, pictures below. This was a piece that was filmed by the BBC and turned into a short news report, which can be seen at the link below:
