The Arts and Technology subjects play an important part at Harlington School and consist of Art and Design, Drama, Music, Photography, Textiles, Design Technology, Food and Nutrition, Resistant Materials and Graphic products.  The quality of our provision has been recognized by our Artsmark Gold status.

The Arts and Technology faculty at Harlington school is committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience, explore and succeed in our subjects, developing creative, well rounded and resilient students.

Our main priority is to develop a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment in which students can express their individuality and take risks whilst developing a wide range of skills.

The faculty firmly believes in the relevance of creative subjects in both the development of the individual and the betterment of the wider society.

We aim for students to achieve beyond their perceived potential in the areas of Arts and Technology to develop confidence, test ideas and apply their creative skills across the curriculum.

Our students will become well rounded individuals, who question and are curious about the world in which they live. They will be confident to express themselves and become the passionate creators and designers of the future.

This is achieved through a challenging curriculum where teachers project their passion in engaging lessons and nurture a love of creativity.
